Help Make Masks for NWI Healthcare Workers

This is an at home activity. You will need to provide your own supplies.

With so many healthcare workers facing the possibility of running out of masks and other personal protective equipment, Masks For NWI HealthCare Workers was created to help streamline the assembly and donation of homemade masks. They have multiple drop off locations as well as instruction on how to create masks from home. The masks will all be donated to local healthcare facilities. The facilities will decontaminate the masks and get them out to their staff.

You can view their website with instructions on how to create a mask and where to donate them by visiting https://www.nwimasks.com/instruction.

Please do not drop off masks at the Lake Area United Way. We are not a drop off location. Use the above website to find your nearest donation drop off location.
